Celebrating a Zachary Centenarian: Jane Mills Burk
Jack Burk informed us that his mom would be turning 100 on Sunday, December 3rd, so Bre and I took a ride out to their sprawling family estate off Old Scenic Hwy. The driveway was 1 mile long, to give you an idea. We did the interview at the family’s dining room table, so you may hear some uncharacteristic background noise.
Coincidentally, P&P just hit the 100-episode mark, so it’s kismet, really. This week we’re honoring Jane Mills Burk and talking about Zachary's rich history, and enjoying an awesome conversation with one of Zachary’s oldest and most cherished residents. She was actually one of the first Zachary cheerleaders before there was even Zachary Football... Can you imagine?!
